Grandma Griffin'S Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 3/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water, bring to a boil.
    When boiling nicely, add the raw peanuts.
    Cook until syrup begins to turn light brown and peanuts begin to pop.
    Add baking soda just before pouring up.
    Stir well, then pour into a large buttered pan.
    Let cool, then break into small pieces.
