Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 small cans chili con carne
    1 small carton sour cream
    6 slices American cheese
    1 medium bag Doritos chips
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion, mix with canned chili.
    Spread on bottom of oblong dish.
    Spread sour cream carefully on top.
    Lay cheese slices on top of sour cream.
    Crush Doritos and sprinkle on top of cheese enough to cover entire dish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Top with salsa (optional).
