Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3 large bananas, mashed
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine shortening, sugar and eggs; blend well.
    Add 1 cup flour; beat well.
    Add bananas, remaining flour and vanilla; blend well.
    Stir in nuts and raisins.
    Pour into loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
