Rich Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1/2 c. diced onions
    3 c. diced potatoes
    2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
    1/4 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. butter, melted
    3 c. light cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place bacon and onions in 3-quart glass casserole dish; cover. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add potatoes.
    Drain clams, reserving liquid.
    Add clam liquid and 1 cup water to potatoes; cover.
    Microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir in flour; mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients; cover.
    Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes longer or until hot and begins to thicken.
    Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
