Mom Elizer'S Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. pears, cored and pared
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put pears into food chopper (coarse grind).
    Makes about 8 cups.
    Place pears in large saucepan.
    Add pineapple and lemon juice.
    Mix well.
    Add sugar, mixing well.
    Bring to a boil over low heat.
    Allow to cook for 35 minutes after it comes to a full boil.
    Pack in clean jars.
