Persian Style Lima Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 medium onions, chopped
1/3 c. olive oil
1 c. dried lima beans, cooked and drained
1 lb. can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
Preparation

Simmer\tonions\tin
olive
oil until golden; add cooked limas, tomatoes and seasonings.
Cook 25 minutes covered over moderate heat.
Serve cold (room temperature).
Serves 4.
