Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together the Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Stir together all dry ingredients.
Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture; mix well.
Shape dough in long rolls.
Wrap in waxed paper; refrigerate or freeze.
Chill thoroughly, preferably overnight.
Cut into thin slices and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes. Dough may be kept in freezer for several weeks.
