Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini
    2 medium size onions
    1/4 c. salt
    1 pt. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Wash and cut unpeeled zucchini and peel onions.
    Cut in very thin slices and place in large pot.
    Cover with water and add salt.
    Let stand for 1 hour; drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
    Pour over zucchini and onions.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
    Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal.
