Mom'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. instant oats
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/3 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In large bowl, put oats and stick of butter. Do not melt butter. Pour boiling water over and let stand for 20 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients with oat mixture. Mix well with mixer on medium speed. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour batter into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
