Pecan Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    pecans halves
Preparation
    Cream margarine while grating cheese.
    Add cheese and mix well. Mix together dry ingredients and add to cheese mixture.
    Blend in well.
    Shape into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Press a pecan half into each ball.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes being careful not to overbake.
    (These will keep several days in a tightly covered tin and also freeze well.)
