Texas Caviar - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
2 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas with jalapenos, drained
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional) *
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in medium saucepan.
Simmer on medium heat until hot.
Add cheese and stir until cheese melts. Mash mixture slightly.
Serve warm with tortilla chips.
