Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/4 c. water
    2 c. carrots, cut in strips
    1 c. chopped celery
    3 bouillon cubes
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 c. diced cooked chicken
    1 c. green pepper strips
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve juice.
    Add water to make 3 1/4 cups. Saute onions in shortening until tender.
    Add 1 1/4 cups water, carrots, celery and bouillon.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Combine sugar, cornstarch, catsup, vinegar and soy sauce.
    Stir into vegetable mixture.
    Cook until clear and thickened.
    Add chicken, green pepper and pineapple.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Make rice with measured liquid, salt and margarine.
