Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 eggs
    2 oz. bottle red coloring
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cake flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour or buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Make paste of coloring and cocoa.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Mix salt with vanilla and milk. Add alternately with flour.
    Mix soda with vinegar; fold into mixture.
    Bake in two layers of 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
