Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. apples, peeled and diced
    1 1/2 c. apple juice concentrate, thawed
    4 1/2 c. apple cider
    7 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Place apple pieces and apple juice, cider and lemon juice in a large non-aluminum kettle.
    Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until volume is reduced by half (the consistency of applesauce).
    Add spices; mix well and heat a few more minutes. Remove from heat and pack into hot, clean jars, leaving 1/2-inch space at the top.
    Cap with hot lid.
    Process 10 minutes in boiling water.
    Freeze after jars reach room temperature.
