Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    3 slices bread, cubed and crusts removed
    2 (16 oz.) cans cut asparagus, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimentos, drained
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 small onion, grated
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add milk and bread crumbs to soften.
    Add all other ingredients, except asparagus, to the bread mixture and mix well. Fold asparagus into bread mixture.
    Bake in a greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes, covered.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer until casserole begins to brown.
