French Toast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large egg
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 Tbsp. baking powder
    12 half slices bread
Preparation
    Mix egg, sugar and vanilla in medium size bowl.
    Add milk and blend until smooth.
    Slowly add flour and baking powder until smooth.
    Dip half slices of bread in batter.
    Deep-fry in at least 2 inches of oil at 375\u00b0 until brown on both sides.
    Serve as you would pancakes or French toast.
