Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white vinegar
1 medium lemon, peeled and sliced
12 hard-cooked eggs, shelled
1 tsp. mixed pickling spice
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except eggs.
Simmer 8 minutes. Place the shelled eggs in a wide-mouthed 1 1/2-quart jar.
Strain in the hot vinegar.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight before using.
The eggs will keep in the pickling solution for a week or more in the refrigerator.
