Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium new potatoes
    1/4 c. oleo or butter
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. green onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in their skins until done.
    Chill overnight. Peel potatoes and grate into a large bowl.
    In medium saucepan over low heat, combine butter and cheese.
    Stir until melted. Remove from heat; blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over the potatoes.
    Mix and pour into 2-quart greased casserole.
    Spread with remaining 2 tablespoons butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 uncovered for 45 minutes.
