Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. (level) cream of tartar
    1 tsp. (level) soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix well the shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.
    Sift together the flour, tartar, soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients to egg mixture. Chill dough in refrigerator.
    Bake dough into small balls.
    Dip in sugar/cinnamon mixture.
    Place on cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
