Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. lemon flavor
    1 tsp. almond flavor
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream shortening, sugar and salt.
    Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well.
    Add soda to flour.
    Sift and stir into shortening mixture, gradually add buttermilk 1/3 cup at a time.
    Pour into tube pan and bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
