Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour red cherries
Preparation

Put mixture of all ingredients (except cherries) in a greased 8-inch square pan. Pour over it 1 pint of red cherries, drained. Add 1 cup of the drained juice.
If there is not a full cup, add water to make 1 cup of cherry juice liquid. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
