Spicy Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 can stewed tomatoes, cut up
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
    3/4 c. regular long grain rice, uncooked
    10 oz. chicken, undrained
    1 c. frozen peas
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    In saucepan, heat broth, tomatoes, garlic and basil to boiling.
    Add rice.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover; simmer 20 minutes. Add undrained chicken, peas and hot pepper sauce.
    Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
    Serves 4.
