Green Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can chicken soup
    2 c. chicken, chopped and cooked
    1 c. onion (plain or green)
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 small can chopped green chilies
    1 c. milk
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine soup, milk and cream.
    Saute onion in oleo (microwave is quicker).
    Add to soup mixture.
    Add chilies, salt, pepper and chicken.
    Cook slowly 15 to 20 minutes on top of stove.
    Serve in soup bowls with cheese sprinkled on top.
    Tortilla chips optional. Serves 4.
