Porcupine Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1/2 c. raw regular rice
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix meat together with the rice, water, egg, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Melt 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet.
    Shape meat balls.
    Brown in skillet; stir together other ingredients. Pour over meat balls.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 45 minutes or until done.
    If necessary, add water while cooking.
