Quick Butter Fluff Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. warm (not hot) water
    1 pkg. active dry yeast or 1 cake compressed yeast
    1 c. butter or sour milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    4 to 4 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Soak yeast in warm water 5 minutes.
    Combine buttermilk, sugar, salt, soda, shortening, eggs, yeast mixture and half of flour in mixing bowl.
