Chicken Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. half and half cream
1 1/2 to 2 c. chicken broth, divided
3/4 lb. American cheese
2 (7 oz. each) boxes macaroni, cooked and drained
1 chicken, cooked, skinned, boned and cubed
1 (4 oz.) jar sliced pimentos
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In large saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in flour until combined. Add cream and 1 1/2 cups broth.
Cook and stir until bubbly, then cook 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat; add cheese and stir until melted.
Stir in rest of ingredients, adding additional broth if needed.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until heated through.
