Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. broken pecans
    2 c. chopped candied cherries
    2 c. chopped, candied pineapple
    2 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls about 1 inch apart.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 to 7 dozen cookies.
