Squash Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pounds yellow squash (cleaned and sliced)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    vegetable oil or spray
Preparation
    Combine squash and onions in a medium saucepan with salted water to cover.
    Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes, or until squash is tender, drain well.
    Mash the squash and onion, and drain again.
    Stir in eggs, salt, and pepper.
