Pie Filling Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 can pie filling (apple or cherry)
    2/3 c. oil
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Fold all ingredients gently with a spatula.
    Do not beat!!! Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased cake pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
