Ingredients

6 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. Crisco oil
6 pkg. dry yeast
6 c. sloppy potatoes
1 qt. warm milk
1 1/2 c. lukewarm water (dissolve yeast in it)
4 tsp. salt
10 lb. flour (until dough doesn't stick to your hands when kneading in flour)
Preparation

Blend sugar and eggs.
Add potatoes which have been mashed and thinned with water.
Add oil and salt, then warm milk.
Lastly, add yeast and flour.
Set in warm place and let raise until double in size.
Then roll and cut with doughnut cutter.
Let raise again. Fry in hot lard or Crisco at 350\u00b0 or 375\u00b0.
Shake in a bag of 10x sugar or cinnamon and granular sugar.
