Marguerite'S Gooseberry Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    small amount of milk
    2 c. gooseberries
Preparation
    Place the 2 cups of gooseberries in the unbaked pie shell. Beat the egg and add the sugar and a small amount of milk.
    Pour over berries and bake at 425\u00b0.
    Turn oven down to 325\u00b0 about the last 15 minutes of baking.
