Jane'S Meat And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
    1 can golden mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
    3 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. Burgundy wine
    1/2 c. water
    12 oz. fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
    12 oz. wide or dumpling-style noodles
Preparation
    In large, greased casserole, whisk together soups, seasonings, wine and water.
    Fold in meat and mushrooms.
    Cover tightly and bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Stir 2 or 3 times.
    Add a little more water if gravy becomes too thick.
    Serve over buttered, parsleyed noodles.
    Makes 8 servings.
