Tomato Soup To Can - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 onions, chopped
    1 bunch celery
    8 qt. tomatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 c. clear jell or flour
Preparation
    Cook onions in a little water.
    Wash celery and tomatoes and add to onions.
    Cook until tender and put through a sieve.
    Return the juice to the kettle and add sugar and salt.
    Cream butter and flour or clear jell.
    Bring to a boil and can.
