Coffee Can Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. dates
    Pinch salt
    4 bananas (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients into a batter.
    Pour batter into 3 (1 pound) coffee cans and bake 45 to 70 minutes at 350\u00b0.
