Pork Chop-Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (3/4 to 1-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/4 tsp. salt, divided
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    6 c. sliced apples
Preparation
    In skillet, brown chops in oil, both sides.
    Pour off drippings and reserve 1/4 cup.
    Season chops with pepper and 1 teaspoon salt.
