Jellied Cranberry Port Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. bag fresh cranberries
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Port wine
    1 tsp. freshly grated lemon zest
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan (2 quarts or larger).
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until all the berries have burst.
    Allow to cool.
    Then spoon into a 1-quart mold or bowl.
    Chill for at least 3 hours.
    Unmold and serve.
    Yield:
    approximately 1 quart.
