Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow pudding in the cake mix
    1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.), undrained
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 (7 oz.) carton prepared whipped topping
    1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    milk (for pudding)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Prepare cake according to directions. Spread into 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake cake 30 minutes.
    About 5 minutes before cake is done, place pineapple, its liquid and sugar in pan.
    Simmer until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove cake from oven and using a fork, make holes over entire cake.
    Let cake cool completely.
    Prepare pudding according to directions.
    Spread over entire cake.
    Spread whipped topping over pudding.
    Sprinkle with pecans and coconut.
