Soldier Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large Russet potatoes, boiled and thinly sliced
    1 small onion, diced
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar
    1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
    1 small can kernel corn, drained
    1 small can peas, drained
    16 oz. can diced tomatoes (in juice)
Preparation
    In a casserole dish, layer all ingredients, beginning with thinly sliced potatoes.
    Repeat to top of dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve with a green salad and dinner rolls.
    A wonderful hot and hearty dish.
