1/2 c. butter (real butter)
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 (10-inch) pie crust or really deep dish 9-inch
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Sprinkle chopped pecans in unbaked pie crust.
Cream butter and sugar.
Blend in eggs, 1 at a time.
Add flour in small amounts and beat.
Add vanilla, salt and buttermilk.
Beat until smooth.
Pour in crust.
Bake 1 hour.
