Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts, broken
1 c. apricot jam
Preparation

Cream margarine.
Add sugar.
Add yolks, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour, then nuts.
Divide dough in half. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with margarine.
Pat one half of the dough into bottom of pan.
Spread jam over dough.
Take small pieces of second half of dough; pat thin and lay over jam.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cut into squares.
