French Bread Fairly Fast(Makes 8 Loaves.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. warm water
    1/2 c. yeast, heaping
    1/4 c. salt
    1/4 c. sugar or honey
    26 c. white flour (this is 10 lb.)
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix.
    Knead.
    Put in large greased bowl in warm spot.
    Let rise 1/2 hour.
    Punch down, shape into long loaves; put on greased cookie sheets.
    Brush loaves with mixture of 3 beaten egg whites and 3 tsp. water for crust or pan of hot water on lowest rack of oven.
    Bake 1/2 hour at 400\u00b0.
    Make sure to knead to very stiff dough.
