Double Chocolate Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. butter; softened (no margarine)
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar (for rolling)
Preparation
    Melt 1 c. chips in microwave, reserve remaining chips.
    Set both aside.
    Beat butter at medium speed until fluffy.
    Gradually add 1 c. sugar, beating well.
    Add egg, milk, and vanilla, mixing well.
    Add melted morsels, mixing until blended.
    Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing thoroughly.
    Stir in remaining chips.
    Roll dough into balls, then roll in 1/2 c. sugar.
    Place on cookie sheets and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8-10 minutes.
    Let sit 1-2 minutes after removing from oven, then transfer to cooling racks. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
