Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    4 slices white bread
    1 c. sugar
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 egg yolks
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak bread in hot water until soft.
    Add sugar.
    Add milk, vanilla and beaten egg yolks.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour in baking dish and cook for about 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites and use for meringue, adding 6 tablespoons of sugar in egg whites while beating.
    Brown in oven.
