Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peeled, diced raw white potatoes
    3/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. coarsely diced celery
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 bottles chili sauce (tomato)
    2 c. milk
    2 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 can tomatoes (at least 1 c.)
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion, celery, 1 teaspoon salt and boiling water in deep pot or kettle.
    Cover.
    Simmer until tender, about 15 minutes.
