Cheesy Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 (5 oz.) jar processed American cheese spread
1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
pepper
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Break leaves from cabbage head and place in cold water to cover for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain well. Cut into 1/2-inch strips, removing ribs.
Place in boiling salted water to cover. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Let stand 2 to 3 minutes and drain well.
Place half the cabbage in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Spread half the soup and half the cheese.
Sprinkle lightly with pepper.
Repeat layers.
Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
