Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add well beaten egg yolks.
    Sift dry ingredients and mix with milk.
    Add butter, sugar and eggs.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Add the vanilla.
    Bake in layers at 365\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes four layers.
