Chicken Adobo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) fryer
    1 clove garlic
    salt
    pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation
    Mix everything but chicken together.
    Marinate chicken in liquid (vinegar and soy sauce) for several hours if desired. Simmer chicken in liquid mixture until tender, adding water to keep liquid at least an inch in the bottom.
    Serves 4.
