Grandmother'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    3/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk, scalded
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 3/4 cup warm water.
    In a large mixing bowl, pour scalded milk over shortening, butter, sugar and salt.
    Stir until shortening, butter and sugar are dissolved.
    Add beaten eggs and yeast mixture, then stir in flour until dough is easy to work with.
    Knead just a couple of times, then put in a large, slightly greased bowl.
    Cover with dish towel and put in warm place and let rise until doubled, about 2 hours.
    Knead the dough a couple of times and then roll out on floured surface.
    Cut out rolls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet and let rise until double. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
