Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
4 c. flour
4 Tbsp. cocoa (optional)
1 box raisins

Preparation

Stir baking soda into applesauce.
Mix all ingredients together well.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 2 1/2 hours in a 300\u00b0 oven.
