Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (if using butter)
    1 tsp. salt (if using lard)
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift together the dry ingredients, then cut in 1/3 cup of shortening.
    Add 2 eggs and about 3/4 cup milk.
    Just stir eggs and milk in flour and shortening mixture until blended.
    Bake in muffin cups.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
